Dear District Governor:

We thank in advance all Rotarians in Latin America's efforts to identify suitable candidates for the Rotary Peace Scholarships. Since the program's inception, most Latin American districts have sent at least one application with its recommendation. This year, we would increase the number of applications from their region of the world, so we appreciate your help in promoting the program in all the clubs in his district, particularly for University of Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina .

Attached to this email some prominent alumni, sponsored by American districts, and those attending University of Salvador through the Rotary Peace Program. These fellows are not only ambassadors of our program, but leaders dedicated to promoting national and international cooperation, peace and conflict resolution in the course of his life in the professional world and through its service. Therefore, we are confident that the districts of Latin America will continue to nominate candidates for the program interesting University of Salvador in the face of the future.

addition, we would like to remind the Trustees of The Rotary Foundation eliminated the boundary of a district candidate for these scholarships. Now the district may recommend as many applicants as they see fit. We hope this decision of the trustees serve to increase the number of applications worldwide, including Latin America.

In order to help your district to identify qualified candidates, we attach to this a few suggestions that show how easy it can be to find good candidates.
