Rotary Peace Scholarships:


Through our social networks, publications and newsletters Rotary updated news, Rotary Center for Peace constantly promote Rotary's flagship initiative in favor of peace. We know, at the same time, you also provides advocacy in your area. However, we are aware that should take time to many Rotary projects, so we provide some interesting data to suggest you refer during presentations about our work in supporting peace initiatives.

Did you know that ...?


During the first year of the program, less than half of Rotary districts submitted applications, to date, over 85% of all districts have

presented qualified candidates.

Soon we will have 500 Alumni Rotary Peace and TRF staff maintains contact with over 90% of them. 434 Rotary Alumni

Peace submitted reports in April 2010 we reported that:


132 NGOs working in other organizations engaged in peacebuilding (30% )
90 working in a government agency (21%) 54
studying for a master's degree in areas related to peace (12%)
25 work in United Nations agencies (6%) working in the
8 World Bank (2%)

"We're trying to process applications for grants with minimal use of paper. Applications are sent electronically shall be subject to a process of processing, analysis and full rating without using a single sheet of paper.
